Obesity Prevention in Public Health Course

Participant Applications:
Criteria for acceptance include professional credentials, experience, and potential to enhance public health practice. Preference will be given to professionals specifically involved in leading, directing and evaluation nutrition and physical activity public health initiatives to prevent obesity at the environmental and policy level. Those interested in attending the 2011 Obesity Prevention in Public Health Course should complete the online application and upload a letter of support (if applicable) from your agency and a current resume or curriculum vitae. Approximately 70 participants will be accepted for the 2011 course.
A minimal number of scholarships will be available, which will include costs for tuition, travel, lodging and meals. In order to be considered for a scholarship, you should complete a 1-page statement of interest in lieu of a letter of support.
